Welcome to Rewind Trauma Therapy
Accredited with the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy.
The Rewind is different from other imaginal exposure therapies because no details are disclosed to the therapist, hence the treatment is known as “closure without disclosure”
The benefits of non disclosure include:
- Minimising the risk of the client being traumatised.
- There is no fear of disclosing sensitive information e.g. In the case of servicemen, for example, about deployment.
- For survivors of rape and sexual abuse the benefit of not having to disclose details of the event to a stranger is self-evident.
- Minimising the risk to the therapist of developing compassion fatigue, particularly for those therapists involved with heavy workloads.
The Rewind offers a way of permanently stopping the involuntary recall by filing the traumatic event so it comes under control. Voluntary recall remains.
Rewind Trauma Therapy would require 3 sessions at a cost of £140 (for the 3 sessions not per session this includes a follow up)
You don’t have to be diagnosed with PTSD or CPTSD to benefit from Rewind Therapy.
If you suffer from flashbacks or constant unpleasant memories from a past event then Rewind Therapy would help you.
The consequences of trauma can present itself in many ways but they can all be treated using the Rewind method.
The success rate for treatment is around 95%

Stress & Anxiety
There are a number of emotional and physical disorders linked to stress, including depression, anxiety, heart attacks, strokes, gastrointestinal distress, obesity, and hypertension, to name a few. High levels of stress can wreak havoc on the mind and the body. While stress can manifest in many ways, it helps to know a few common symptoms. Trauma victims typically suffer from these symptoms due to the constant reminders and triggers every day. Rewind Therapy can quickly remove these triggers to enable the victim to return to normality once again.

Fears & Phobias
A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder that causes an individual to experience extreme, irrational fear about a situation, living creature, place, or object. When a person has a phobia, they will often shape their lives to avoid what they consider to be dangerous. The imagined threat is greater than any actual threat posed by the cause of terror. Rewind therapy was first developed to remove these fears and phobias and is still used successfully today.

Insomnia
Insomnia, also known as sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder in which people have trouble sleeping. They may have difficulty falling asleep, or staying asleep as long as desired. Insomnia is typically followed by daytime sleepiness, low energy, irritability, and a depressed mood. Night terrors are typical of trauma victims where flashbacks are constantly coming into your mind. Rewind Therapy can get rid of these flashbacks and in turn will help you return to your natural sleep pattern.
